    No electricity
Our bathroom light switches work fine. The electrical outlet next to the switches doesn't seem to have any electrical power. The circuit breakers are correct. This all happened after an extremely close hit of lightning to a palm tree on our property. A few other outlets also stopped working, but for these I found a ground fault outlet that had tripped. Can anyone help me?

Your bathroom recept should be a gfi. If you had a lightning strike it probably damaged the gfi recept.

If you have a GFI it was probably damaged by lighting if you have an older home the lighting strike probably came out of outlet and damaged existing outlet. Wires will still be hot if trying to replace be careful
