Would someone know if it's possible to make your own sidding with pine tree?
If so what is the best way to proceed?

    Thanks

It is possible. First you would need a way to cut the logs.

There are do-it-yourself saw mills that use a chainsaw on a special jig. I've seen where the used the pto of a tractor to power a old time 48" circular saw blade on a homemade contraption.

Whatever you do, of course, be careful.

After cutting the sidng you will need to stack it w/ spacers between the rows so the wood can air dry. You would want the moisture content to be down around 7-8 %. Drying it out will also help prevent sap bleeding.

WOW! That sounds like toooo much work. Coupled with the waste and mess, I think I would just buy the siding.
