I changed spark plug and put new gas in push mower but still starts then dies within 2 sec

Did you clean the air and fuel filters?

Does it smoke? What color?

Add SeaFoam or other good carb cleaner per mnaufacture instructions. If this fails you may need to disassemble the carb and clean
