Is there a paint that I can use (one coat) with a stain blocker to paint the ceiling with out having to paint the stain blocker first (primer) and then putting ceiling paint over that.

Pfizer(sp?) Bulls Eye l-2-3 is a stain blocker. I use it for a primer on old stained wood before painting white. Works well. Have used it for years. But how bad is your ceiling ?

Home depot has finish paint with primer in it.

Have not used it so don't know how good it works.
