Identify the sourse of a picture that I received on Yahoo mail
I received some pictures from somebody playing a scam on me, in my Yahoo mail account. I have the emails and the attachements. I would like to find out where those pictures were originating from; they probably were stolen from some other person. Is there a way to find that out? Thank you. Or is there a way to find somebody by having only pictures, like a police search of some sort? :)

You can trace where the email originated easliy enough doing an IP Lookup on the originating email found in the headers.

A police search? Did someone do something illegal? If so, let the police handle it. If not, the police won't get involved.

Honestly, there isn't any guaranteed way of determining the pictures origin.

Even an IP search from the headers won't give precise locational information.
The best you can get would be either the mail servers location or the ISP.
Any more would require a court order.
