Seriously, kid flushed puppy down toilet?
Oh my gawd people can be idiots!
    The poor little puppy.

They shouldn't have given the puppy back to them... my gawd.
Don't people LEARN about buying a dog before they hand over the money...
And what about educating your children??

    Yours sincerely,
    Very very angry.

He was four, I can just imagine seeing a hysterical child, I can imagine a four year old thinking the toilet is a good washing center.

Too bad the parents were even letting the child(ren) handle the puppy, at one week old, they shouldn't even be near them.

Exactly, I don't blame the kid, I blame the mother for not watching him and telling him that the puppy is not a toy and shouldn't be picked up.
My little brother is 6 and he is still not allowed to pick up puppies, even supervised. He is allowed to sit on a chair and have to pup on his lap.

That was my thought. This child will likely remember this tramatic experience for the rest of his life...
