    Now, because of the Adam Walsh Act, it's my understanding that the laws in every state are going to be the same or nearly the same for every state. There is some leeway given to the states to make their own decisions to a certain extent concerning the Act, but not much. All the states are to be in compliance with provisions of the Act within a certain time frame.
