I have been charged with theft under 5000 by my employer. Unfortunity I have a lenghty criminal record and have served time in a federal prison for 2 years. I haven't been in any trouble for 6 years now but I was in a position of trust. My lawyer told me to be looking at 4 years in jail, he is trying to convince them to let me do house arrest. Anyone know which way this will go. Also living in calgary isn't the best place to be charged for this, but I hear of murders being let out everyday and the courts keeping in the little and not violent offenders
