Water trickling inside Kohler pressure assist toilet.
My Kohler model 811000 (Pressure Clean) Flushometer toilet sounds like water is trickling somewhere but I can't see it. It does not appear to be going into the bowl and there's nothing in the china tank or on the floor. Can it be leaking down the drain without entering the bowl? How do I stop it?

. The toilet model number is usually found on the tank wall and begins with a K and has four numbers and possibly a couple of letters following it. I can't pull up any information using the number you furnished.
Does this sound like a pressure or a drainage problem? Is the tank level high enough to drain into the white overflow tube? Is there a 1/4" of play in the flapper linkage? Let me know. Tom

    Thanks for the response Tom,

The model on the Kohler tank is K3404PB, apparently made on 8-6-91. The model on the pressure tank is 811000. This is a one piece pressure clean Flushometer toilet/tank. The trickling sound seems like it's draining somewhere. There is no overflow tube and there is no flapper or linkage. I see nothing trickling into the bowl and there are no stains in the bowl, as one might expect from a constant trickle. There may be some water going through one of the clear plastic tubes on top of the pressure tank. These tubes discharge into an opening in the wall of the china tank. Not sure where that leads to.
