Small redish lump like boil in vagina.
I was wiping from urinating and felt pain. It hurt, checked and saw a small lump like boil in my vagina and am also on my period. This is the first time this had happened, can someone tell me what this might be.

If it seems like a tiny bb beneath the skin, it could be a blocked sebaceous gland, which is a harmless thing, like a pimple.

Unfortunately, pain while urinating can also be indicative of herpes. Was it just pain from the wiping, or was there a burning sensation upon urination?

A blocked sebaceous gland could be painful to the touch, because it is a blockage of sebum that can cause pain like a boil or pimple. A herpes sore may present as an inflamed, raised, red area and then develop one or more clear, yellowish blisters. That pain will cause a burning, aching sensation.

At any rate, it's best to have a doctor check it out. I hope you feel better soon...

This happened to me too. For me it just ended up being a pimple and it went away within that week.

I don't know if it is the same thing for you, but I agree, you should go to a doctor to have it checked out
