    Knee Walls - Joining Sections
I am finishing off a room in my attic. The area was used by previous owner as a master bedroom (hard wood floor, insulated, wired, but not dry walled-go figure). I want to put up knee walls that run the length of the room, and then drywall. I intend to use the area behind the knee walls as storage as well.

My question: When building the knee walls, should I join the individual sections (end to end) before tipping them into place? I ask because the sections will be assembled in four 8' lengths.

Either/or. All you need is a chalk line on the floor and a plumb mark on either end on the rafters. Stretch a string from one end to the other and align everything from thode 2 reference points.
