Hair grows as fast as it wants to (about 6-8 inches or 15-20 cm per year) and, unless you're severely malnourished, won't grow any faster than it wants to grow. Just make sure you are eating a good diet.

There is nothing you can do to speed up hair growth because it is determined by genetics.

To ensure healthy growth, focus on eating a diet rich in essential vitamins and nutrients. Drinking plenty of clear water helps you to have a healthy scalp.

Sorry each persons hair grows at its own rate, you may waste you money on various products that don't work but will make you hair smell nice.

Ethnic hair... in my experience is often fragile. You can't do anything to make it grow faster, but you can go to Sally's Beauty Supply and get a deep conditioner. Before applying the conditioner you should towl dry your hair... then put on the deep conditioner... use a shower cap and put it on over your hair and continue with your shower. Rinse right before you get out with the water as cool as you can stand it. Cold water forces the hair shaft to close forcing the moisture to remain inside the cuticle. You can also shop around for keratin treatments to strenthen your hair. Oh... and last but not least... my new personal favorite product on the market is call Moroccan Oil. You don't even have to use that much so the cost is well worth it! My hair is Severely bleach damaged and it makes it feel soft and silky and it smells awesome!
