Unfortunately I had to file for bankruptcy on the March of 2009. On June I had my hearing and I was discharged. My questions is, when I filed for bankruptcy, my Paypal account was showing $0 balance so my lawyer told me not to include the account in the bankruptcy.

Right after my bankruptcy was discharged I received an e-mail from Paypal stating that someone had filed a dispute with their credit card company for an item I sold on eBay on January 2009 which I did indeed appeal back with Paypal but they refuse to remove the charge.

Am I eligible to have those funds erased or am I going to have to start a whole new process?


I filed for Chapter 7 on the state of NY.

Is this amount into the 1000's of dollars?

You have and are allowed a amount of money in the bank, so unless this amount would take you over the allowed, you would not have any trouble.

Just listen to your attorney.
