I have the mirena and I haven't had my period all month. I started spotting last night and haven't had NOTHING since then.. I took a home pregnancy test and it said negative but I don't understand... am I pregnant?

Missing your period when using mirena doesn't necessarily mean you are pregnant as mirena may cause your periods to stop all together. Then again no because is 100% effective. Unless you begin experiencing pregnancy symptoms, I would lean towards thinking that you are not pregnant. If you have any doubts though, taking another test or seeing your dr can never hurt.

Wait another week or two and then take another hpt, use first morning urine. If you're really concerned then see your doctor for a blood test.
