I bought a floor model 11 ft diameter cantilever umbrella that is supposed to tilt. The floor model came with no directions. How do youl tilt the umbrella?

If you look on the stem of the umbrella is there not a mechanism for tilting. You press the button, hold onto the top and the umbrella tilts. Unless I am mistaken, this is how they all work.
