    Exchange tab
    Hi,
I'm remotely logging in to AD. I installed admin pak. But I can't see the exchange properties. Do I need to install exchange tools. If so where do I download it

Yes you do. You must first install IIS and SMTP on your PC. Once this is done, run the Exchange Server installation on your PC. You will then select the Exchange Server core components and the Management piece (at the bottom part of the selections). The core components are required for the management piece.

Once your admin pack on your PC has been updated, you will see the additional tabs required to administer the Exchange portion of the user accounts. You use the Exchange System Manager only for administering the Exchange Routing Groups and Servers.

    Good.

I forgot to mention that you always need to keep your Exchange System Management client updated to the same Service Pack level as your Exchange Server. So do not forget to run the Exchange Server SP installation as well. The install options will appear the same, just select Update and the currently installed components on your PC will be updated to the same version as your server.
