Depo shot before my period
I went to the clinic about two weeks ago and I was administered a depo shot after I received a pap smear. Before the shot you are required to take a pregnancy test, and it was negative therefore I was able to get the shot. I wasn't informed when I could start being sexually active only of the side effects like I might gain weight or stop having periods.
I got the shot 2 weeks after my period, but I hear you're supposed to get it when you're on your period. I had unprotected sex 2 days afterwords because I read that it takes 24 hrs for it to go through your system. But I did not receive the shot when I was on my period, but in the middle of my cycle.
What are the chances of me being pregnant? And should I be worried?:(
