My mother can't take pills. Are there any liquid forms of blood pressure medicines?
Why can't she take pills, have she tried crushing and putting in food.
There is propranolol in liquid form, and pharmacies can compound liquid forms of blood pressure medications, provided they are not the long-acting forms of medicine. I'm with the previous answer, as long as they aren't long-acting, she can crush them and put them in pudding/applesauce.
And I will add two things,
Do places still compound any more? I guess some must I just don't see or hear about that here.
And my blood pressure pill is so small, I mean tiny, and my other one I used to use was small and I had to only take 1/2
By the time I put it in my mouth, it almost always desolves ( yuck the taste)
