I had a Toshiba P205D series Laptop and have several accessories for it - including power adapters. I am contemplating purchasing an HP HDX 15-1140 laptop. Is it possible to use the Toshiba power brick and adapters with the HP laptop?

Check the power voltage ex 20v or 24v on the back of the computer and the power adapter. Only use them if the voltage match and the tip matches. Do not force the tip!

I forgot to mention this but you can always but a universal power adapter from eBay or Amazon or even walmart.
