    Sex during pregnancy
Hai there, I am 8 weeks pregnant, this is our 1st baby. I need to know if it is OK 2 have sex while you are pregnant? If so then from which month to which month is it OK to have sex? The advantages and the disadvantages?

    Thanks

Unless you are a high risk pregnancy, and your doctor tells you no sex... It's okay to have sex up until the day you go into labor.

Can you kindly explain what you mean by high risk pregnancy? I visited the dr when I was 7 weeks pregnant because after I missed my menses date I waited for a week before carrying out test. Then I travel for 6 hrs which caused me motion sickness, and I had slight pain on my left-side tummy. So just to be sure that everything is OK I visited the dr. she recommended scanning which I did and everything was normal. I do get slight brownish discharge from time to time but not bleeding.

A high risk pregnancy is a pregnancy in which the doctor is afraid of complications such as miscarriage or other predetermining factors such as heart disease, kidney disease, autoimmune disorders such as Lupus just to name one.

Here is a great website that describes high risk pregnancies.

You seriously need to talk to your doctor more and /or research being pregnant.
