Had an abortion in 2004, need to get pregnant can I?
Well, in Feb 2004 July after 5 days of my periods, I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend, I missed my periods so I thought of doing my test were doctor told me I am positive, I didn't knew that I would conceive. I told my boyfriend that I am pregnant and he told to abort the child. I was 1 month pregnant. I did an abortion in August and doctor told me that after one month I would get my periods. I got my periods and after my abortion my periods always come 3 or 4 days early to my last periods.

Is it normal if you get your periods 3 to 4 days early then your last periods. After that I used condoms whenever I had sex and used twice pills also till date.

Please let me know whether I can get pregnant, because I am getting married and want to be mother.

As long as the procedure was performed correctly and you had no complications following, you should be fine. Many women that have had abortions go on to bear children eventually. Give it some time. It may take a year or more to get the timing just right in order to conceive.

It may take a while to conceive in order for you body to get on a regular cycle. Have you been checked out by your regular gyno? It's a good idea to meet with your dr before conceiving so that he can examine you to put you in the best position to have a healthy pregnancy.

Many things can effect your period and the time frame. Your doctor should be able to do an exam to help determine if there is any problems.

As noted normally it should not cause a problem, but there have been cases where it does.

Wow, that was over 5 years ago and you are still not sure? Your periods must be different now then they were 5 years ago. You can't calculate your periods to be the same now as they were then.

You know, this is just my honest opinion... but I think the LAST thing you NEED right now is a pregnancy...
