    Cashier versus certified check
A certified check is a personal check that the owner has stamped by his or her bank saying that the funds are there. A Cashier's check is kind of like a money order on a grander scale, in that the owner has to lay out the cash in order to purchase it. If it were me... I'd take the cashier Check

    Good Luck
