Can a condo association prevent month to month leases?
A friend of mine is renting a condo in Florida and the 1 year lease is going to end soon. It's a senior complex and the complex association has told him that they do not allow month to month leases, even though the owner of the condo is fine with doing month to month. Is it legal for the association to not allow month to month leases? Thank you for your help!

You have to read the association's bylaws and rules and regs. If it's in there then yes, they can do it. If this is just an arbitrary decision that they're making without authority in the governing documents then no, they can't do it.
