I am working at a new and used car dealership in Ohio and we recently found out that we will be losing are new car lines "pontiac/cadillac" and the question I have is can I collect unemployment if I quit due to the ability to sell new cars. I can not sell the cars that I used to beable to, the owners don't seem to want to lay anyone off- "probably because it may cost them unemployment money. So they would rather watch their salse people starve until they just quit! I would rather just be on unemployment and go to school for something else cause selling cars isn't what it used to be. I don't want to just quit and then not beable to get unemployment! Anyone have any advice or know if I could collect unemployment due to the condition of the auto industry and the dealer I work for. Thanks
