I am also trying to find out how to get my transcripts from a closed school. The name of the school I went to Is Harrison Career Institute, 600 Pavonia Ave. Jersey city New Jersey, 07306. I graduated in 2004 and the school closed in either 2005 or 2006. I am current ly enrolled at Hohokus school of nursing and they need my transcripts. I don't want to take classes that I have already taken. Without my transcripts that is exactly what I am going to have to do. Everyone I have called has led me into a brick wall. If anyone can give me some kind of info on obtaing my transcripts would greatly be appreciated. Thank You

Here are some possibilities as far as suggestions for what you might try.

It's possible that your transcripts are stored at another educational institution. If you call the Department of Education, or whatever it's called in the State of New Jersey, you might be able to get some information as to where they are.

It's also possible that the files are located at the State Department of Education itself.
