    Court date?
After being arrested for a v.o.p and being held in jail w/o a bond, how many days do you have to sit in jail before you appear in front of a judge? And does everydays count? or just business days?

    Hello a:

There is no legal time limit for them to keep him. Yes, days in jail count - ALL of 'em.

    Vop court date
How many days will my son have to sit in jail on a violation of probation before his 1st court date in fla? Will a public defender get a court date just as fast a paid attorney after arrest?

I was a PO for 7 years. Court dates are assigned based on the docket availability of the judge handling the case, not the attorneys involved. Its hard to tell, in my state it usually took about a month, but I live in a high crime area. There should be a bond review hearing before the VOP though.
