    Church wedding
Can me and my partner get married in church even though we have both been married twice before ? I have had 2 church weddings and my partner has been married in register office on both occasions . If so does it have to be a methodist church ?

Guess I will ask this first. Why do you want to get married again when it is obvious that you have had problems choosing a proper mate? Maybe you need to take a step back and get some serious counseling before you make another mistake. If you have already gone that route, then forgive my boldness in suggesting. As to your original question, I guess if you can find a church and a minister that is willing to marry you you can do it again in a church.

It wasn't my fault that both my marriages ended, first hubby was caught cheating, and second one was voilent, with regards to my partners, both his ex wife's were control freaks, now we are together we are very happy, and as the saying goes, third time lucky.

My dad was a minister. No, you don't have to get married in a Methodist church, and yes, if you can find a minister (and church) who will perform the ceremony, go for it! The minister will want to sit down with the two of you to find out a few things about your marital histories. Perhaps check into Unitarian or ELCA (Lutheran) churches which tend to be more open-minded/liberal.

If I had only known beforehand what his purpose was; I did not aggree for a church wedding. The fiancé that I have now for 10 years wanted to have a church wedding (Catholic). The first wedding was performed from a protestant church.
