Would we get back together?
I met I really good guy. We had a very nice connection and an awesome relationship which only lasted for 4 months. Sadly, I had to move to another country. It was a mutual decision no to keep the relationship because I didn't even know if I was coming back. Still, two months after moving he visited me and it was emotionally worse to say goodbye for a second time. It has been very difficult to get over him. Specially when you know that it was a good relationship. I have done the NC. As far as I know, he has a new girlfriend right now, but I haven't been able to get over him. For some reason, I keep thinking that down the road we will see each other and give it another try? Is it ridiculous of me holding to that idea? Can this actually happen? What should I do?

Live your life... that's what everyone is going to tell you on here... and they are right.

You can stop focusing on and giving yourself false hope. He already moved on and you should follow his lead by doing the same.

Break-ups happen and this break-up was due to you moving to another country.

Keep going NC and try your hardest not to dwell on you and do things to keep you busy. If the two of you were meant to be there you would reconnect with him in future but live your life surrounding that thought.

You can't focus on what if's or the future, live your life in the present. If he comes back later, he comes back but don't put your life on hold for a what if. You will live to regret it

If he moved on then so should you. If you can be long distant friends then great. But your living around a dream. If you don't let it go and move past it your going to cause yourself a nightmare.
