OK in a nut shell ( and I'm not proud of it)
Lost my job and can't affornd the ridiculous interest rate amex is placing on my wife's card. We owe over 50 k in card debt and the card is in her name. We had a judgment jut placed on her and now they sent us something saying we need to meet the judge and go from there.
Question is. Will bankruptcy protect our assets? We don't have much but I don't want to lose what we have
Any ideas on options? I need help in a bad way.
