I have just got in touch with my daughters dad after 10 years we have been talking for quite a few months we are talking about taking another try at our relationship we spent some time together and the feeling we had back then came back so my question is how do I go about changing our daughters last name to her dads and he does pay court ordered child support what happens with that? Is the dad on the birth certificate? If he is paying court ordered support, he must have been declared her legal father so her B/c should have been changed.

I would go slow on this. Wait until you are together for a few months then you can apply in court for a modification of the support order.
