    Spouse L2 dependent visa Queries
    Hi,

    I want guidance on this!

I have applied for L1 visa.

I have a family- Wife. My Wife got pregnant in April and now currently it is her 4th month and would be due in December 1st week. She would be applying for her L2 visa along with me.

    Questions:-

    1) Would she face any difficulty procuring the L2 (L1 dependent) visa?
    2) Would she be able to travel on L2 visa?
    2) Maximum up to what period can she undertake air-travel?

    Thanking you all in advance.

    Regards

    Congratulations!

Please explain that you have "applied" for an L-1 visa. The I-129 with the USCIS or the DS-160 with AMCON?

If you get your L-1 visa, your wife is eligible to file for the L-2. If she is issued the L-2 visa, she can travel with it.'

Check your OB/GYN and the airline for guidance on air travel during pregnancy.

    I have applied through USCIS.

The application through the USCIS is for the approval of the visa classification only, it is not a visa. After the approval, you will take the I-797 approval notice and apply for the visa at the US consulate or embassy to get the visa, which you use to enter the US as an L-1 and she as an L-2.
