I can't really remember the details, but I watched this movie when I was young and would love to know the name of it. It's set in the dark ages. There was a guy who some how had a statue of a dragon. It turned into a real dragon, or kind of godzilla thing, and the king of the land wanted to kill it. The king realised from some crying girl that the way to kill it was salt water. They lure it into water, and it disapears. At the end of the movie the main guy, and some girl are walking on the beach and find the statue. Does any one know what it is?

Sounds like the plot of "The WaterHorse", only the statue was an egg, and the king was a military big-wig, and the little girl was a little boy, and instead of trying to kill it WITH salt water, they tried to kill it IN salt water... but other than all that, sounds like "The WaterHorse"... :-)
