    Dancing Ballerinas 80's Movie
There is a fantasy movie, real actors not cartoon. I think they were 12 or 14 sisters, who would sneak out of their fathers place every night, to dance in this enchanted forest. I think their slippers played a key part to the story. I think it's a semi musical, with male ballerinas, also. Ringing any bells, for anyone? Please help.

It's a version of The Twelve Dancing Princesses aka The Worn-Out Dancing Shoes aka The Shoes that were Danced to Pieces. Not sure which one though, sorry.

Also, I checked out all of these references, to no avail.. I think The Wonderful World of Brothers Grimm ( 1962) may be what I'm looking for, though I couldn't find any reels from that oarticular part. It definitely is the same story though. Thanks for the help!

Was it Faerie Tale Theatre - The Dancing Princesses? (1982). Because I really remember that one, and it was great! Check it out, and you will see this version, from the Shelly Duval Faerie Tale Theatre, was rated as the favorite in her series, by viewers, with The Frog Prince coming in second. I have an old VHS tape version recorded from TV, but packed away for years... I liked it so much. Wasn't there a sort of jazzy modern roaring 20's number included with all the ballroom type dancing?
