Brake light on dash board is on

Definitely have this checked out before you drive your car at all if possible. Never ignore a brake light! You could have an accident as you can't properly stop the vehicle. If possible have your car towed to your mechanic to have it properly diagnosed.

First thing to do is have someone stand behind the vehicle while you press on the brake. Any vehicles today will turn on the brake light when a bulb is out. If you see one out, change the bulb and see if the light goes away. If not have a professional repair shop look at it for you.
