My 17 year old daughter went to get her dark brown hair dyed yesterday, asking for a medium/light brown, and specifically requesting NO RED, but the top turned out quite red and the remainder turned out okay. The hairdresser did the top first, because the roots were very dark.
So, she went back today to get it corrected and she is still dissatisfied as the top is still very red.
Will it harm her hair to go back to her hairdresser this week and have it dyed a third time? I don't understand why professionals can't dye without the red hues.
Thanks for any advice, as I don't think I'd be able to correct the problem myself.
