Chemical Burn on a Bad Sunburn
I got a bad sunburn on the back of my neck yesterday. That night, my boyfriend put hair stripper(bleach) on my hair and he got some of it on the sunburn. It hurt for awhile. We didn't immediately wash it off for about 6 -10 minutes. After rinsing the haircolor out I noticed a puffy spot on the back of my neck. He looked at it and said it was black and purplish like id been punched there. This morning my hair was stuck to the burn area and there's no pain on the blackish area.. just around it... In the last few hours I've started running a fever. Is there a product someone can suggest to put on it?

If you are running a fever, I think you should visit a doctor. However, running a fever could be from too much sun, as in sun stroke. A chemical burn on top of a sunburn sounds like real disaster in the third degree burn margin. I think you should visit emergency and have them take a look at it.

Yes, you were right. It was a 3rd degree burn.
