The question is difficult to understand. You don't put expenses in the liabilities because they are two different kinds of accounts. Which is a different thing than the fact that expenses and liabilities can be related and used together, which is how pready seems to be interpreting your question. (In which case, all accrued expenses end up as liabilities.)

But it would be nice if you cleared up what exactly you're asking. Given some of the common confusions to students that I see, I would prefer not attempting to assume any interpretation.
