Regarding my application with Green Peace
I recently applied for a job fundraising on the streets with Greenpeace. Straight away, on the very first day that I submitted my application, they rang me back and had a 10 minute phone interview. I'm assuming they were happy with the answers I gave them and they said they wanted a second interview with me face to face and said to give it 2 HOURS for the second interview.oh yeah I thought I shold mention that over the phone, they asked me every question I the book, from what the job is about, why I think I'm suitbale for it, what experience I have had relating to the position, to what I know about green peace... So in my opinion, if you can't form an opinion about whether I'm right for this job in 10 minutes, then well I don't know, because the 2nd interview seems quite pointless to me in a way? You already asked me EVERY QUESTION possible! Come on

    So My question is:

    1. Does the second interview mean they were happy with my answers on the phone?
    2. Why 2 HOURS for an interview, the interviews I have had to date, none of them more than 10 minutes
    3. What does the 2nd interview entail? More of the same questions? How should I prepare for the 2nd interview?
    4. What's the possibilities of me landing the job?

    Thanks

    Adam

Perhaps they have a problem with Spies?
May want to make sure you are Pro Earth, not pro money.
If its what you want to do, pursue it.

The fact that they called you back for a second interview says that they liked your answers. However, they want to see you face to face to gauge how their potential contributors will react when they see you. They want to get a better sense of your personality and how you will react to questions. I can only speculate from the two hour length that you will probably speak to more than one person or maybe even go to lunch or coffee to account for the time.

They may try to make you sweat, to see you under pressure. Don't sweat, expect it.
