Legal stay in USA once the divorce is finalised
    Hi -
Let me thank you for replying all my immigration questions, here is one more- How long can I stay in USA once my divorce is finalised. Say my divorce is finalised by June 30 and I get divorce papers to my hand on the same day and need to reserve a flight for my home country for that I need atlest 15 days time. Legally is there any time specific once the divorce is finalised. My husband is on H1 visa
    Will wait for your reply.
    Once again thank you!

Hi, you have no time to remain in US once you get your divorce approved. The day you got the approval is the last day. Now a days Immigration has become very tight. So make the decision fast.

There is no specified time. If you have arrangements made already, 15 days is very reasonable. Good luck.
