    Bankruptcy discharge
I live in Il and filed for bankruptcy in 2005 which was discharged in 2005. Since the discharge a memorandum of judgement has been filed on my husband for real estate that was included in the bankrutpcy. Can this be filed done since it was discharged?

If you had an attorney handle your bankruptcy for you, turn this new paperwork over to him and have him file the necessary Answer paperwork.

    What happened to the "property"
It was either taken and sold by the court to pay for the bankrutpcy, If not, you would keep the property and would have or should have continued to pay.

So what was the actual status of the property though bankruptcy

If your husband was obligated on this debt (a note secured by the real estate), but if he didn't file bankruptcy, he can be sued for that obligation. You may have been discharged but, as I read your question, he wasn't.
