    What does this mean?
Does anyone recall Varikeries being in the mystic books of gods/goddesses or the such? I recently watch max payne and it brought it to my attention! Did they exist throughout our realm passing through dementions?? I took up mythology but didn't recall anything?? Just wanted to see if someone can correct me on this?

Valkyries are from Norse mythology. They convey the slain, who are worthy, to the Norse heaven of Valhalla. They are female.

Valkyries also work under the god Odin, I believe, who rules over Valhalla. Those who die courageously in battle are transported to Valhalla as Einherjar, where the Valkyries bring them food and drink as they prepare for Ragnarok, an occurrence of massive war and natural disaster after which the world is reborn.

It goes something like that, but you can find lots of information online. The word "Valkyrie" comes from the Norse "valkyrja."
