The brake lights in my '95 Ford Mustang GT are staying on. I replaced the brake light switch and they are still on. I mentioned this problem to a mechanic at a Ford dealer and he said there are dimensions you have to set on the brake light switch. Are there dimensions that need to be set on the brake light switch or could there be some kind of short?

If you unplug the Brake switch and the lights go out, it is with the switch/adjustment.

First, spray the brake light switch with WD-40. Second, adjust the switch, if it still doesn't go out. Finally, replace the switch, if all else fails.
