    Dating a best friends ex
I have a situation there is very complicated. To sum it up, my ex boyfriend cheated on me with this girl and then left me for her. A month went by and the girl he left me for found out she was pregnant with his baby. One of my best friends dated this guy for a couple of years ago and then they broke up. A month later she found out she was pregnant with this other guy that she started was seeing a week after her and her ex broke up. My best friends ex and I became very good friends having gone through the same situations. We had each other to lean on and realized we were very much alike. Now both of our exes are getting married and have a baby. Th ex and I have developed feelings for each other but my best friend (his ex) apparently has a huge issue with this and has defriended me. Is what I am doing wrong or since she is getting married, should she even care? She has gone around and tried to turn my friends against me and acted like she is still in high school. What should I do?

The best defense in life, actually the best REVENGE in life, is living well in spite of others.

By that I mean if you can't be affected by her childishness, then you can't be affected by her childishness. If you live your life like it doesn't matter what she thinks/does, then you will already have won this battle.

The "friends" that you have that also see you completely unaffected will by default join you... else they're not friends worth worrying about.

I find this entire you can date this person because I did so ridiculous. The fact is they broke up she is getting married to someone else end of story.Just like JB said don't worry about it live your life.

Seriously, anyone inappropriately gives you "instruction" for your life, give them grandma's old:

    "Well, bless your heart..."

... then go back to doing what you want. Not even worth the effort to argue with them, is it?

    I wish

If they were really your friends, they wouldn't turn against you.

Just live your own life. Worry about yourself. Let her have the miserable life of trying to make your life more difficult. It's not healthy to hold grudges against other people. You don't need to sink down to that level.
