    Wiring in the panel
This is probably a no brainer, being that I wasn't using the old brain when I did this. I was wiring in a baseboard heater, had the wires sticking out for the heater and then the wire to the panel. I thought I had enough wire to the panel for hook up. Well actually I do for the black, hot wire. That will go on a breaker near the bottom of the panel. This is a HOM panel and the grounding bar for the white and bare wires are situated near the top. The problem is, 1. the bare and white wires won't reach the top, 2. I have already sided the wall. 3. I used staples, so can't feed another through.
Can I (code) put a jumper on the white and bare wires in the box to reach the bar?
    Thanks
    Ron

One other thing, the heater is 120 volt.

All splices must be inside an electrical enclosure.

Inside the circuit panel, you can splice wires using a wire nut. If you don't have enough wire to get inside the circuit panel, you'll have to put an electrical box somewhere and splice the wires inside the electrical box.
