I have a Toto Ultra Max toilet that is only a couple of months old and the flapper leaks--I replaced the flapper with a new Toto flapper and it continues to slowly leak. The flapper seat seems to be OK. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Toto makes a good product but if you tried 2 flappers and still have a leak I'd start thinking of replacing the whole flush valve. Rub your finger around the lip of the seat to check for nicks or bumps, could be a mineral deposit.
How much play is threre in the linkage when the flapper's seated? Back to you. Tom
Yep, check linkage. I also agree with Ballengerb1. You may have a bad seat, or even a small crack in overflow tube. Are you certain that the flapper is leaking, or is water possibly running over overflow tube? Please let us know.
Good point MGD, the tank should stop filling 1" below the overflow tube. Richard has some checking to do.
I'm a first-time user and I really appreciate the fast and helpful responses!
Linkage is fine and the water level is an inch or so below the overflow. I thought I had well-checked the flapper seat previously; however, I went back and more carefully checked the seat and found a very slight "bump". I have sanded that with a very fine paper and think the problem is resolved.
Again, thanks to all
Richard
I would call TOTO. They are pretty good with making sure customer is happy. They will probably even send you new flopper for free. Here is the info:

If removing the bump removed your leak you are all set. Keep Milo's service number just in case.
