Im a truck driver. Recently I was working for a company who kept pushing me to run illegal loads. Well I left the company and they reported I abandoned their equipment. I did leave the truck at a truck stop. Does anyone know of a company who might hire me with this on my DAC report?

Abandoning loads even at truck stops as you know is a definite no, no. You should have completed the load and then returned the equipment to the yard and quit in a professional way. Having that on your record is definitely going to make it very hard to get hired on in a big hurry. You will just have to keep applying to companies and keeping your fingers crossed that someone out there will give you another chance. If this is the only time you quit under a load, that could work for you. If this is a regular thing for you, then it obviously won't work.

Lots of companies are hurting for drivers but they want to be sure that you won't quit under a load. Try and convince them you're reliable and won't do this to them.
