Residential well issue letting very fine silt through filter
We built our house 3 years ago. Ever since, we have had dirty water. A very fine silt comes through. We have tried even digging a new well, and it must be the aquaphor around here, but it is still dirty. We have 2 inline filters, a 20 micron and a 5 micron to filter, but we go through these every couple weeks as they will fill up and our water pressure gets real low and thus repeats the cycle every couple weeks. What should we do?

What type of well and pump?

A 250' deep well and the pump to go with it... does that matter when trying to figure out what is causing my dirty water? If so, I guess I can find out specifics...

It is possible that pump is to far down and sitting on bottom. Raise pump about 3' and see if this helps.
