    Galvanized pole in cement
Hi! I've got a 9' galvanized pole that I want to set in quickcrete cement. Can anyone tell me how deep I have to go, the volume that needs to be filled with concrete and rocks to make this secure as a clothes line?
    Cheers,

8" wide x 1' deep should be sufficient. About the size of a post hole digger.

    Volume of a cylinder is 3.14 * r * r * h)

r is radius and h is height. Use ft if you want answer in cubic feet.
