Driver issues with Audio on my Dell GX270
I have a Dell GX270 computer and have just reformatted it. Everything works find but no sound. I checked the Dell website and downloaded the correct driver for the onboard sound card and installed it but it just keeps rebooting and comes back to the screen that states that I need to install the driver (realtek 97 I think) I have even gone to their website and downloaded it but it just never seems to take. Any ideas on how to fix my sound card?

I guess I will answer my own question since I just figured it out. It is all on the manufacture's web site. I have a Dell so I went to the support link and found that it is important that you download and install your drivers in a specific order or it will mess something up. More importantly, if you reformat and reinstall windows, you need to install the "chipset" driver first before anything else and then follow sequence. Just FYI if anyone else comes across the same problem.
