Prescription Meds and Probation/PTS in Florida
    Hi,

I've been searching on the gray area of taking prescription medication, while on probation. Actually, I'm in PTS or pretrial services. I found on this site, where an ex-PO said that they can't technically interfere with your doctors legal prescription. In short, I would really like to speak with someone in private about this, because there are possible aggravating circumstances that I don't wish to divulge to the world. It's scaring me that they might put me in jail, because I did kind of go behind there back and get this, even though we had discussions that they wanted me off mood altering medications.

    Thanks
    CD

    Hello CD:

If you have life sustaining medication that you must take, and they're interfering, you can get permission to take them.. ANY other drug, unless there's a medical necessity to take it, and PROVEN to be so, then the PO is in charge of the drugs you put into your body.

We don't do this in private. I don't know you. You don't know me. What's the big deal? If you want to continue, I'm here. If not, later.
